Geography

Vienna village is located southeast of Bernburg (Saale ). The Great Vienna Teich is the largest lake in the area of the former district of Bernburg.

History

Vienna village was first mentioned in 1209 as Winitrop documented.

On 1 January 2010, until then independent municipality of Vienna village was incorporated together with the communities Cörmigk, Edlau and Gerlebogk in the city rounders.
