World record progression 200 metres breaststroke

The swimming world records over 200 meters breaststroke are the best in the 200m breaststroke swimming discipline swum times. They are recognized by the International Swimming Federation FINA. World records are kept separate for long paths ( 50 m) and short tracks ( 25 m) and separately for men and women.
