Yilan County, Taiwan

The Yilan County, and Yilan County (Chinese宜兰 县/宜兰 县, Pinyin Xiàn Yilan, Yilan Tongyong Pinyin Sian, W.-G. I2 - lan2 Hsien4, PEH oē - jī Gi -lan koan ), is one of 14 counties of the Republic of China on Taiwan. It is located in the northeast of Taiwan. Its capital is the city of Yilan.

Geography

The majority of the approximately 460,000 residents living in the mouth of the river level Lanyang along the Pacific coast in the northeast of the county.
