Zaspy Wielkie

Zaspy Wielkie ( German United Satspe ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is located in the powiat Białogardzki ( Belgard ) and belongs to the municipality Tychowo ( Tychowo ).

Geographical location

Zaspy Wielkie is located on the eastern border of the Powiats Białogardzki and is across the province road 167 Koszalin ( Koszalin ) - to achieve Ogartowo ( Jagertow ). To the district town Białogard is 15 km on a side road connection via Zaspy Małe (small Satspe ) and Buczek ( Butzke ). The nearest train station was until 1945 the village Słonino ( Schlennin ) at the track Białogard - Świelino ( Schwellin ) of Koszalin - Belgarder tracks.

History

For centuries the Good Great Satspe was in possession of those of Münchow. Only in 1932 did the New Official Buckow with small and large Satspe to the district Belgard ( Persante ) and formerly belonged to the district of Koszalin.

In 1939 lived in the United Satspe 305 inhabitants in 74 households. The vast majority of people lived by agriculture, trade and crafts were few and sparse.

Until 1945, the United Satspe belonged to the district of New Buckow, for the civil registry district Buckow and district court area Bublitz. The Oberland hunters from New Buckow provided the police duties.

When invasion of the troops of the Red Army in March 1945, there were no fights in the United Satspe. The village remained intact. The villagers, who had initially fled, returned, but were expelled later.

Today Zaspy Wielkie belongs to the rural community Tychowo.

Church

Great Satspe belonged until 1945 to the parish Seeger (now Polish: Zegrzyński Pomorskie) in the Church of Pomerania of the Church of the Evangelical Church of Pomerania Old Prussian Union. Last German priest before the war was Werner Gruda. The church patronage for the village in the parish of Great Satspe Seeger practiced last from the local peasant leader Karl -Heinz Kaeding.

Today Zaspy Wielkie belongs to the parish Koszalin ( Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland ), the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church.
