Zauralie Kurgan

Sauralje Kurgan (Russian Зауралье Курган ) is a Russian ice hockey club was established in 1961 from Kurgan. The team plays in the Wysschaja Hockey League and bear its home games at the Ice Palace Mostowik. The club colors are red, white, black and blue.

History

The club was founded in 1961. The club participated in several seasons at the second division in the Soviet Union and later Russia. After the turn of the millennium, the association was able to establish in professional ice hockey and played until 2010 in the sub-prime Wysschaja league. For the 2010/11 season the team was finally added to its successor league Wysschaja Hockey League.

Sauralje Kurgan acts as a farm team of the KHL Sibir Novosibirsk HK participant.
