Zimbabwe national football team
The Zimbabwean national football team, also known as The Warriors, is the national team of Zimbabwe and was controlled by the Zimbabwe Football Association. The team is coached since 2010 by Klaus Dieter Pagels.
History
The team was known to the year 1980 as the National team of Rhodesia, as Zimbabwe formerly called Rhodesia.
The team never took part in the World Cup, however, was qualified Cup tournaments for two Africa and also won four league titles in Southern Africa. After the failure in qualifying for the African Cup of Nations 2013 and the involvement in match fixing, the national team was disbanded on November 3, 2012. FIFA had previously locked the former national team coach and players Sunday Chidzambwa and the Zimbabwe Football Association chief executive officer Henrietta Rushwaya for manipulation games and 16 players for 10 years.

In qualifying for the World Cup in Brazil, Zimbabwe could not prevail against Egypt, Guinea and its neighbors Mozambique and had been on 9 June 2013 following a 2:4 home defeat against Egypt no chance to qualify.
