( 11333 ) Forman is an asteroid of the inner main belt, which on 20 April 1996 by the Czech astronomer Petr Pravec and Lenka Kotková (then under her birth name Lenka Šarounová ) at the observatory Ondřejov (IAU code 557 ) was discovered in Ondřejov near Prague been.

Mean distance from the sun ( semimajor axis), eccentricity and inclination of the orbital plane of the asteroids are within the respective limits that are defined for the Nysa group, one named after (44 ) Nysa group of asteroids (also called Hertha family, according to (135 ) Hertha).

( 11333 ) Forman was named after the Czech-born American film director Milos Forman on 23 November 1999. In the dedication particularly emphasized Forman films are Black Peter, The Firemen's Ball, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Hair, Ragtime and Amadeus.
