Reviews

" A staged on the found reality out very authentic-looking game study of the life of the sixteen to eighteen year olds with ( or, more precisely next to) the older generation - in the external action determined by the experience of the 17 year-old Peter, who not only as an apprentice to a self -service store always seems to pull the " buck ". A challenging witness high psychological and artistic empathy. "

" A documentary film of high artistic level, which is characterized by remarkable empathy, great naturalness, authenticity and love of truth. Equally to recommend young people and adults warmly and strongly. "

" Coinciding with his first feature film is a masterpiece of the 33-year old playwrights Prague Schaubude, Laterna Magica ', Milos Forman, succeeded, which was awarded a prize at the festival in Locarno with the first prize. The semi- documentary play of light, which depicts two days in the life of a 16 year old apprentice, analyzed without ideological deterioration in the kind of cinéma vérité Love and lifestyle of the young Czech generation. In the loosely strung together, primarily rotated with amateur actors episodes Forman commitment for youth, which argues against fathers and uptight sanctimonious morality. In the sincerity of the method and of the environment, this report is the best movie from the Eastern bloc, which reached our cinemas lately. It runs in the Federal Republic in flawless synchronization of Defa. "
