120 Days

120 Days is a Norwegian rock band from Oslo.

Band History

The band was founded in 2001 as a pop band under the name " The Beautiful People ". At that time, the founders Ådne Meis Fjord, Kjetil Ovesen, Jonas Hestvik Dahl and Arne Kvalvik still lived in Kristiansund. Moving to Oslo in the following year, the group renamed in 120 Days ( Based on the novel The 120 Days of Sodom by the Marquis de Sade ).

The label Public Demand released the EPs Sedated Times and The Beautiful People before Smalltown Supersound took the band under contract. In the year 2005 120 Days played at the Sonar Festival in Spain and the Carling Weekend in the UK. On 10 October 2006 the self-titled debut album was released on Smalltown Supersound and Vice Records in the United States. Following the publication played 120 Days a tour of the United States.
