Background
During the seven-week break after the Grand Prix of South Africa found two not for the World Cup scoring formula 1 race held in the UK: Peter Gethin finished the Race of Champions at Brands Hatch victorious, Jackie Stewart won the International Trophy at Silverstone.
On April 1, new security rules were adopted. Among other things, the cars had over deformable structures called crumple zones have. Training

Race

This lasted until the 57th lap when the leading Peterson was forced to retire due to gearbox problems. Since this time from the second placed Carlos Reutemann turned out a little later, eventually reached Fittipaldi, Cevert and George Follmer podium ranks. For Follmer this was his greatest success in Formula 1, even though he only earned his second Grand Prix.
