1975 Meistaradeildin
The Faroe Islands Football Championship 1975 was held in the Meistaradeildin said first Faroese league and overall was the 33rd season. It started on May 4, 1975, ended September 14, 1975.
Champion was defending HB Tórshavn, which could thus win the title for the third time in a row and the ninth time overall. HB remained loss- point free for the entire season, which was previously only HB itself in 1973, KÍ Klaksvík 1969 and TB 1949 Tvøroyri succeeded.
Mode
In the Meistaradeildin each team played at ten game days twice each against each other. The point- best team in the season-ending stable as champions this league, a down regulation did not exist. For next season, there was due to the introduction of the first Deild to increase to seven teams.
Course of the season
HB Tórshavn were over the entire season from a single point. The two games against the only serious competitor KÍ Klaksvík were each won 1-0. The decision for the championship fell in the penultimate round after a 4-0 home win against HB TB Tvøroyri so that KÍ despite the 3-0 away victory against ÍF Fuglafjørður the distance of three points could not catch up.
