1992 AFC Asian Cup
The 10th Asian Cup took place in the period from 29 October to 8 November 1992 in Hiroshima Prefecture Japanese instead. The largest Asian football tournament is carried out since 1956 by the Asian Football Confederation ( AFC).
Hosts Japan won the final against defending champions Saudi Arabia. Best scorer of the tournament was Fahd al - Harifi al - Bischi (Saudi Arabia) with 3 goals.
Venues were the Big Arch Stadium in the district Asaminami -ku, bingo Athletic Stadium in Onomichi and Hiroshima Nishi -ku stage in the district.
