1993 IIHF European Women Championships
The 3rd Hockey European Women was held until March 27, 1993 Esbjerg in Denmark of 24. The teams ranked 1-5 qualify for the 3rd Hockey World Cup of women in the following year. Has now been introduced a B- group with promotion and relegation system for the A- group. The Games of the B group were held from 22 to March 27, 1993 in Kiev, Ukraine.

Qualification
The qualifiers were held in November 1992. They later found themselves obsolete. After the Netherlands and Italy withdrew their message, it was also the loser of the qualification to participate in the tournament of the B group.
