1997–98 EHF Women's Cup Winners' Cup

At EHF European Cup Winners' Cup in 1997/98 took 29 handball club teams from 28 countries participate. These qualified in the previous season in their home countries in the cup competition for the European Cup. In the 22nd edition of the Cup Winners' Cup competition, was able to Bækkelagets SK for the first time a team from Norway win the cup.

First round

The first leg of the first round took place between the 2nd - 11th October and the return matches between the 4th - 12th Of October 1997.

With a bye attracted Borussia Dortmund, KSK Luch Moscow and Kuban Krasnodar directly into the last sixteen.

Second round

In the second round found the first leg of 7 - 9th November and the return legs of 9 - 16th November 1997 instead.

Quarterfinals

In the quarterfinals, found the first legs of 21 - 27th February and the second legs on 28 February -1. March 1998 instead.

Semifinal

In the semifinals, the first leg on April 5, and the second legs were held on 12 April 1998.

Final

The first leg was held on 9 May 1998 in the Zagreb Cathedral Športová and the return leg on 16 May 1998 at the Oslo Spektrum instead.
