1999 Island Games
The Iceland Games 1999 were the eighth edition of the Games. They found from June 26 to July 2, 1999 held on the island of Gotland. It was attended by 1858 athletes.

The Cayman Islands and Rhodes took part for the first time. Compared to the last edition of Iceland did not start as independent island states were no longer permitted. For the Prince Edward returned to Iceland in 1993 back again.
