2002–03 ISL season

The 2002/03 season was the seventh and final season of the Ice Hockey Super League, the highest British Hockey League. British Champion were the Belfast Giants, who prevailed in the playoffs. Master of the regular season were the Sheffield Steelers. For the 2003/04 season the league by the Elite Ice Hockey League was replaced.

Mode

In the regular season, each of the five teams played a total of 32 games. The winner was Master of the regular season. All five teams qualified for the play-off second round, in which each team played four times against any opponent. The top four teams in the second round qualified for the play-off semi-finals. The playoff winner was British Champion. For a victory after regular time and one victory after overtime, each team received two points for a draw and one defeat after overtime and a point for a defeat after regular time zero points.
