2002 EHF Women's Cup Winners' Cup

At EHF European Cup Winners' Cup 2001/ 02 took 29 handball club teams from 29 countries participate. These qualified in the previous season in their home countries in the cup competition for the European Cup. In the 26th edition of the Cup Winners' Cup competition, has won for the second time a team from Russia HC Lada Togliatti with the trophy.

Round 3

Since the European Handball Federation standardized the round names of all club competitions and the starting field in the Cup Winners' Cup was relatively small, this began with the 3rd round games. The first legs of the third round took place between the 11th - 19th January and the return game between the 13th - 20th January 2002 instead.

With a bye Horsens HK, CB Elda Prestigio and last year's finalist North beach IF attracted directly into the 4th round.

4th Round

In the 4th round found the first legs of 15 - 22nd February and the second legs on 16 -24. February 2002 instead.

Quarterfinals

In the quarterfinals, found the first legs of 16 - 22nd March and the second legs take place on 23 March 2002.

Semifinal

In the semifinals, found the first leg on 14 April and the return legs on 20 - 21st April 2002.

Final

The first leg was held on 12 May 2002 in Râmnicu Vâlcea in the Traian Sports Hall and the second leg on May 18, 2002 in Tolyatti in the multi -purpose sports hall Olimp instead.
