2002 Úrvalsdeild
The Icelandic Football Championship in 2002 was the 91st season of the highest Icelandic Football League, and was also known as Símadeild ( after the sponsor Síminn ). The League began on 20 May 2002 and ended with the last games on 21 September 2002.
It took ten teams participated in the competition, which was held in a simple round-trip round. KR Reykjavík won the 23th title in club history, and third in the last four seasons.
