2003 EHF Women's Cup Winners' Cup

At EHF European Cup Winners' Cup 2002/ 03 took 29 handball club teams from 28 countries participate. These qualified in the previous season in their home countries in the cup competition for the European Cup. In the 27th edition of the Cup Winners' Cup competition, was able to ESBF Besançon for the first time a team from France win the cup.

Round 3

Since the European Handball Federation standardized the round names of all club competitions and the starting field in the Cup Winners' Cup was relatively small, this began with the 3rd round games. The first legs of the third round took place between the 4th - 11th January and the return matches between the 5th - 12th Of January 2003.

With a bye attracted HC Rostov -Don, Alsa Elda Prestigio and Spartak Kiev directly into the 4th round.

The first leg was held on 10 May 2003 in Brovary at the Palace of Sports BVUFK and the return leg on 18 May 2003 in Besançon at the Palais des Sports instead.
