2006 Women's Baseball World Cup

The Baseball World Women's Championship in 2006 was the second edition of this baseball competition for women and took place from 31 July to 6 August 2006, in Taipei instead. It was played in the " Tien- Mou Stadium". At participated in this tournament total of seven teams.

The opening ceremony took place at 18:00 clock on 31 July 2006.

The title was won for the first time the team from the United States.

Mode

The seven teams played each against any one time. The medals were awarded on the basis of the final table. In case of equal first chose the direct comparison and subsequently approved the lower number of runs per inning.
