2007 FIFA World Player of the Year

The World Player of the Year 2007 was awarded on 17 December 2007 at the Zurich Opera House. It was the 17th of the award was introduced in 1991 by the football body FIFA award " World Player of the Year." Winner of the award was the Brazilian Kaka.

Tuning mode

The winner was determined by a vote among the coaches and captains of national teams in the world. Each of these named the three best footballers in their opinion, none of the three could come from their own country. One response to square one brought five points, second place three points, third place a point. Then the points were summed.
