Juninho Pernambucano
Juninho Pernambucano Antônio Augusto Ribeiro Reis Júnior actually, ( born January 30, 1975 in Recife ) is a retired Brazilian footballer who since August 17, 2007 he also holds French citizenship.
Juninho Pernambucano is a midfielder who is known for his scoring prowess from free-kicks, as 44 of his 100 hits for Olympique Lyonnais, he scored a free kick.

Career
Clubs
Juninho began his career in 1991 with his hometown club, Sport Club do Recife. Then he played from 1995 to 2001 with CR Vasco da Gama.
From 2001 he worked in France for Olympique Lyon. There, he won the French championship seven times. Despite a valid contract he was allowed to leave the club free transfer because of its great merits for the French top club. In his last game against Caen he scored his 100th goal for Lyon in total.
Juninho then moved to Qatari club Al - Gharafa, where he received a two-year contract.
From there he moved before the season 2010/11 to the Brazilian first division club Vasco da Gama, for whom he made his debut on 6 July 2011 at the game against Corinthians Paulista under coach Ricardo Gomes. In this game, he also scored his first goal for the same Vasco da Gama.
In December 2012, the American Major League Soccer club New York Red Bulls announced the signing of Juninho January 1, 2013. However, after half a year he moved to Vasco da Gama returned.
National
His debut in the national team celebrated Juninho Pernambucano on 28 March 1999. While he was not at the Copa América 2004 while he was at the soccer World Cup in 2006 and the Confederations Cup in 2005 to the root of the Brazilian National Team, from which he resigned in 2006. He had played since 1999 and scored 6 goals in the process 40 internationals. In the National Juninho usually stood in the shadow of Ronaldinho, who also had his best time in his best years to the chagrin of Juninho. With free-kicks but Juninho was, he played the first shooter in the national team, although there were several other dangerous shooter on the team (eg, Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos, Julio Baptista, Kaka ).
