The 2008/09 season was the 35th season of the Super League, the highest Spanish Hockey League. Champion for the third time in club history FC Barcelona.

Main Round
Mode
In the main round each of the seven teams completed a total of twelve games. The top two teams qualified directly for the playoff semifinals, the remaining four Spanish teams contested first pre- playoffs. The playoff winner was champion. Anglet Hormadi Élite from France renounced the playoff participation. A victory in the regular season brought a team 3 points. A win and a defeat after extra time was rewarded with 2 or 1 point. For a loss in regulation time, there were no points.
