2009 Southeast Asian Games
The 25th Southeast Asian Games were held in Vientiane from 9 to 18 December 2009.
It was the first Southeast Asian Games, which were held in Laos. The games were opened on 9 December at the South East Asia Games newly built stadium. 3100 athletes from 11 nations participated in 26 sports.
