2011 European Team Championships
The third track team championship (English / sponsors name: 3rd SPAR European Team Championships ), also briefly Team Championships, was held on 18 and 19 June 2011. Of the four leagues the Superliga occurred at the Olympic Stadium in Stockholm (Sweden ) and parallel the 1st League in Izmir (Turkey ), the 2nd league in Novi Sad ( Serbia) and the 3rd Liga in Reykjavik ( Iceland ).
Super League: Russia, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Poland, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Ukraine, Sweden, Belarus, Czech Republic, Portugal
First League: Slovenia, Romania, Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Belgium, Ireland, Hungary, the Netherlands, Finland, Switzerland, Norway
Second League: Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Austria, Serbia, Denmark
Second Division: Moldova, Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Luxembourg, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Montenegro, Armenia, AASSE (combined team " small countries " ), Albania, Andorra, Macedonia, Malta, Cyprus
German team
The German Athletics Federation ( DLV) had nominated 50 athletes (25 women and 25 men). The German team started in the Super League, finishing in 2nd place.
