2013 European Team Championships
The 4th track team championship (English / sponsors name: 4th SPAR European Team Championships ), also briefly Team Championships, was held on 22 and 23 June 2013.
Of the four leagues the Superliga came with over 600 athletes from 12 countries in Gateshead ( UK ) and parallel to the first league in Morton Stadium in Santry / Dublin (Ireland ), the 2nd league in S.Dariaus - and - S.Girėno Stadium in Kaunas ( Lithuania) and the 3rd Liga in Štadión SNP ( German: Stadium of the Slovak National Uprising ) in the district Štiavničky of Banská Bystrica (Slovakia).
Super League: Russia, Germany, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, France, Poland, Ukraine, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Belarus, Greece, Norway
First League: Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland
Second League: Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Israel, Lithuania, Serbia, Slovenia
Second Division: AASSE, Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Georgia, Iceland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Slovakia
German team
The German Athletics Federation ( DLV) had nominated 49 athletes (24 women and 25 men). The German team started in the Super League, finishing in 2nd place.
