2013 FIA European Truck Racing Championship season
The FIA European Truck Racing Championship 2013 consisted of ten events, each with four races in Europe. She was the 29 Truck Racing Championship at all, and the seventh, since she was awarded in 2007 by the FIA, the predicate " Championship" ( previously had the championship, only the status of " cups ").
The two-time defending champion Jochen Hahn won the championship ahead of Antonio Albacete and Markus Oestreich for the third time in a row. European champion in 2011, 2012 and now in 2013 thus succeeded for the third time in the 29 year history of this motor racing event in the title hat-trick in the same class. Before him have that previously managed only Curt Göranson ( European champion in Class B of the 1988, 1989 and 1990 ) and Heinz -Werner Lenz ( European champion in the class race trucks 1997, 1998 and 1999).
Steve Parrish also won in 1992, 1993 and 1994, three consecutive European title in truck racing, but not in the same class. He won the 1992 and 1993 class C, so it was 1994, the Super Race Trucks class.
In the team standings, the team won Truck Sport Lutz Bernau Antonio Albacete and Markus Oestreich of second-placed Castrol Team Hahn Racing with Jochen Hahn and Mika Mäkinen and the third-placed team MKR Technology with Adam Lacko and Markus Bösiger.
