2014 WAFF Championship
The Football West Asia Championship 2013 ( officially: 8th Waff Championship, Qatar 2013 ™ ) will be held in Doha from 25 December 2013 to 7 January 2014. There are a total of nine teams in the West Asian Football Federation ( WAFF ) aligned finals compete to determine the West Asian champions.
Participant
The nine participating teams were divided into three groups, each group was occupied with three teams. In the group stage the teams in the league system each played once against each other. The group winners and the best runner-up moved into the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals wore for the final.
The draw for the group stage was held in Doha on 11 November 2013. It disclosed the following groups:
