(3309) Brorfelde

( 3309 ) Brorfelde is an asteroid of the inner main belt, which by the Danish astronomer KS Jensen and Karl Augustesen on Brorfelde Observatory (IAU code 054) was discovered on 28 January 1982. He counts due to its orbital parameters for Hungaria group.

In 2005 was published by the observation of brightness fluctuations, the possibility that ( 3309 ) Brorfelde could have a moon. 2006 was then confirmed by observations at the Palmer Divide Observatory, that it is a binary asteroid at ( 3309 ) Brorfelde.

The asteroid was named on the 40th anniversary of the founding of the observatory after the place of its discovery.
