350.org is an entity created by the American author and environmental activist Bill McKibben international climate protection organization. Goal of 350.org is building a global grassroots movement for climate protection. Global Power Shift

Phase 1 of the Global Power Shift was an international meeting of some 500 climate activists from 135 countries in June 2013 in Istanbul, Turkey. It focused in particular on the exchange of knowledge and methods of campaigning as well as finding a common strategy.

Phase 2 is planned as an implementation of what has been learned in Turkey to organize more events in the home countries of the participants.
