(4714) Toyohiro

( 4714 ) Toyohiro is an asteroid of the main belt, which by Japanese amateur astronomers Tetsuya Fujii and Kazuo Watanabe at Kitami Observatory (IAU code 400) was discovered in the prefecture of Hokkaido on 29 September 1989.

The asteroid was named after the Japanese journalist and astronauts Toyohiro Akiyama ( b. 1942 ) named, who flew in December 1990 became the first Japanese aboard Soyuz TM -11 into space and spent a week on the Mir space station.
