60 Wall Street

60 Wall Street is a 227 meter tall skyscraper in Lower Manhattan, New York City, which has 55 floors. The building currently serves as the American headquarters of Deutsche Bank AG. Built between 1987 and 1989 skyscraper was the headquarters of JP Morgan and Co. and contains over 160,000 square feet of office space. Kevin Roche and John Dinkeloo planned and built the building. Its height is 227 meters, making it the 31- tallest building in the city. The building with a rectangular plan concludes with a abstufenden to roof.

In 2001 the whole building was bought for 600 million U.S. dollars by the German bank to bridge the loss of the German Bank Building, which was on 11 September 2001 severely damaged by the terrorist attacks and then abandoned. Surrounded by Art Deco buildings edifice stands out from the lower Manhattan skyline and is visible from afar.
