A Static Lullaby

A Static Lullaby is a post-hardcore band that was founded in 2001 in Chino Hills, California.

Band History

A Static Lullaby were formed in 2001 after a rehearsal at her high school. Two weeks later they played for the first time in public. Within a short time they made locally such a big name that after its founding their Withered EP, under their direction, brought out a few months. Because of this EP and the record companies were to "A Static Lullaby " attentive, so that they completed a contract with Ferret Records in the summer of 2002. Then appeared in March 2003, their first major label album ... And Do not Forget To Breathe, which was produced by Steve Evetts, which reached even for bands like Sepultura and Story of the Year at the regulator.

After a 18- month tour with bands like AFI, My Chemical Romance and Brand New, they joined with Columbia Records as a recording contract for her second album Faso Latido. This was released in April 2005. Due to the modest success it should have been her last for Columbia.

A little later, the then bassist Phil Pirrone was involved in a serious car accident, after which he left the band with Nate Lindeman (guitar), to form his own band Casket Salesmen.

Together with the two new John Martinez ( guitar) and Dane Poppin ( bass) completed, A Static Lullaby with Fearless Records for their third, self-titled, album is kind of turnaround. In contrast to the two predecessors of the sound of the album was published in 2007 now harder and the shoutings more frequently.

Their latest album Rattle Snake! was released on 9 September 2008.

In early 2009 they recorded the music video for Britney Spears Cover "Toxic ", which was published on the Internet a short time later.

On January 10, 2012 Dan Arnold announced on his Facebook page that the band would dissolve.
