A Thorn for Every Heart

A Thorn for Every Heart is a rock band from Chino Hills, California (USA), which is also associated with the post-hardcore.

History

The band played, among others, the 2005 Warped Tour and 2006 several concerts as opening act for A Static Lullaby.

Songs like 99 With an Anchor and "Summer So Bleak " are to this day the greatest hits of the band. The cover of the 1970 classic Dead Man's Party by Oingo Boingo is today still known as the best of the band.

Currently, the band has a record deal, as Kickball Records, a sublabel of Interscope Records, was dissolved. On March 21, 2009 announced the band that they paused for an indefinite period.

The members Kelvin Cruz and Justin Powell founded in October 2009, a new band called " Come On, Come On ".

Style

The band mixes strong pop influences with rocking, experimental - but still rectilinear - post-hardcore. With the album It's hard to move you the trend, however, strongly moving away from post-hardcore, alternative rock, to massenkompatiblem. Often the band is brought in the early days with emocore in conjunction.
