Time for Drunken Horses (Persian زمانی برای مستی اسبها, DMG Zamani barāye Masti asbhā ) is the title of a Kurdish film from 2000. Portrayed are episodes from the lives of several siblings in the Iran-Iraq border region.

Action

The twelve year old Ayoub, after the death of his father his head consisting of several sisters and the disabled Madi family. He has to earn the money for living expenses, plus money for the operation Madis, whose life could be extended by the operation at eight months. He is forced to sell his sister and therefore works as a smuggler, a not only exhausting, but also dangerous work.

Description
