AA Drink-leontien.nl

AA Drink- leontien.nl Cycling Team was a Dutch women's cycling team, which was licensed from 2005 to 2012 as a UCI Women 's Team.

Named the team was after the main sponsor AA drink and the website leontien.nl, which operates an online store under the name of former Dutch cyclist Leontien Zijlaard -van Moorsel, whose husband Michael Zijlaard is the manager of the team.

With the start of the 2012 season merged AA Drink- leontien.nl with the dissolved Garmin-Cervélo team, of which the riders Emma Pooley, Elizabeth Armitstead, Lucy Martin, Sharon Laws, Carla Ryan and Jessie Daams came to the team. It took Slipstream Sports, the owner of Team Garmin - Cervelo, the management of the joint team. Team Manager was Michael Zijlaard. As a further consequence of this collaboration, the team traveled in 2012 with Cervélo bikes.

In August 2012, the beverage company AA Drink declared its withdrawal as a sponsor; then told team manager Michael Zijlaard with the dissolution of the team at the end of the year.
