Abaddon Incarnate

Abaddon Incarnate is a Death Metal band with grindcore influences from Dublin, Ireland.

History

The band was founded in 1989 in Dublin as Bereaeved. After three years, the first demo Signs of Death came out, then followed Torture of Souls 1994. By 1995 Demo When the Demons Come, the band named Abaddon Incarnate in order. In 1996, the band released a 2- track promo that caught the attention of the independent label Season of Mist, which took the band under contract. The debut album titled The Last Supper was taken in Finland and mastered by James Murphy in Florida. After the departure of Rob Tierney came Corey Sloan ( including: Arcane Sun and Fifth Dominion ) in the band. The band then went on opening for Morbid Angel and Impending Doom.

With the 2001 album Nadir, the band moved to the Irish label Sentinel. The album was recorded at Soundlab Studios in Sweden under the direction of Mieszko Talarczyk ( Nasum ). After some changes appeared in 2003 the third album Dark Crusade on Xtreem Music.

The fourth album was released in 2009 on Cascade Metal Age Productions. 2011 was followed by a split with Phobia.

Music style

Avbaddon Incarnate plays a mix of death metal and grindcore, which is sometimes referred to as Death Grind. The lyrics of the band are anti-Christian oriented.
