Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy

Abbott and Costello Meet Mummy Raider is an American comedy film directed by Charles Lamont from 1955 based on a story by Lee Loeb. The film is the penultimate of the comedian duo. Germany premiere was on 21 August 1959.

Action

Abbott and Costello have landed in Cairo. You get random with how Dr. Zoomer on the mummy Claris ', the grave keeper's Princess Ara speaks. The mummy has a sacred medallion that is to show the way to the treasure of the princess. Semu and Madame Rontra, followers of Claris, eavesdrop on the conversation as well.

In order to convert the mummy to America, Abbott and Costello go to the doctor's house. Before the two are received, Dr. Zoomer two helpers Semus, Iben and Hetsut killed. The mummy is stolen, but the medallion is forgotten. Abbott and Costello find the medallion. Rontru offers them $ 100, but Abbott knows that at least $ 5000 in it, the Rontru is also willing to pay. They should meet Rontru at Café Cairo, where they learn of a waiter that the medallion is cursed. Frantically trying to get rid of it, but by accident it lands in Costello's hamburger which swallowed it promptly. Rontru urges the two to go to a doctor so that Costello is x-rayed. Abbott and Costello convince Semu to open a nightclub, and to preserve the legend of Claris.
