Abdelmalek Rahou

Abdelmalek Rahou (born 17 March 1986) is an Algerian boxer at middleweight.

Boxing career

He won the bronze medal at the 2010 World Combat Games in Beijing, and 2011, respectively, the gold medal at the Arab Championships in Doha and the African Championships in Yaounde. He was then admitted to the African Olympic Qualification in Casablanca, where he won third place and was thus qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. There he defeated in the first round of the Australian Jesse Ross, but subsequently resigned from in the second round against the Japanese and later Olympic medalist Ryota Murata.

In October 2013 he launched at the World Championships in Almaty, but it lost to in the second preliminary round against Anthony Fowler from England.
