Abdou Sall

Ahmed Abdou Sall ( born November 1, 1980 in Dakar ) is a former Senegalese football player of Senegalese and French citizenship.

Sall, who grew up in France, played from 2001 in England for the fourth and fünftklassigen Clubs Oxford United, Kidderminster Harriers, Nuneaton Borough and Forest Green Rovers. In the summer of 2006, the central defender moved to FC St. Pauli to Germany in the Regionalliga. Directly after the change Sall suffered a partial demolition of the Achilles tendon. After several months of rehabilitation tore a hamstring tendon. Without having attended a single game for the first team of FC St. Pauli, Sall rose with this 2007 in the Second Bundesliga. Despite the injury, he received a new contract for the second league. His first second league game for St Pauli denied Sall on 20 March 2008 at Millerntorplatz. He denied even a second short-term use, but received a new contract for the 2008/ 09 season. During the winter break of the 2009/2010 season Sall signed at Hamburg Altona 93 Oberliga a new contract. Its appeal was not renewed in the summer of 2011, Sall ended his career. In November 2011, he made his comeback known and signed for FC Sylt.
