Abdüllatif Şener

Abdüllatif Sener (* 1954 in the district Gürün, Sivas Province) is a Turkish politician.

Life and career

He graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences at Ankara University. His dissertation Sener wrote at the Gazi University. He was at the same university docent. Sener was Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Gazi University. He was a university professor at the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Hacettepe University.

Abdüllatif Sener is a founding member of the Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi ( AKP). He was in the 19th and 20th legislative period deputy for the province of Sivas in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Sener was a member of the ACP in the 21st and 22nd legislative period. He was in the 54th Government (" Cabinet Erbakan " ) Minister of Finance. He was also Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State in the 58th ( " Cabinet Gul " ) and 59 Government (" I. Erdoğan Cabinet ").

He is Chairman of Türkiye Partisi, which was founded on 25 May 2009 by 33 founding members. With the passage of the Independent Members Mehmet Yaşar Öztürk, the party is represented with a mandate in parliament.

Sener is married and father of four children.
