Ablaze My Sorrow

Ablaze My Sorrow was a Swedish melodic death metal band that was active from 1993 to 2006.

History

Already in the founding year 1993 published Ablaze My Sorrow their first demo. Then they released two albums in 1996 and 1997. Discouraged by the lack of success, the band paused a long time. In the late 1990s they came together again in the short term, but only after the arrival of the singer Kristian Lönnsjö published in 2002 a new album, Anger, Hate And Fury. The cover designed Niklas Sundin.

2004 joined the band again at the Swedish 2000 Decibel Festival, but then broke up in 2006.

Reception

Greater success or recognition denied to the band. Critics attested to the band, although sound quality, but also pointed to their lack of originality. Comparison between the band frequently with other melodic death metal bands such as In Flames and Dark Tranquillity.
