Action

The film is set in Berlin. Peter Winkler lives with his fiancée Hella woman in Weber's pension Splendide. Here lives a collection of failed lives. Only Peter and Hella seem to be happy. Peter receives the offer for a better job in Dresden. With this better place, he hopes to marry Hella finite. Overjoyed, he tells of other boarders, but it conceals Hella.
