Accolay, Yonne

Accolay is a commune in the French region of Burgundy. It is located in the department of Yonne, in the Arrondissement Auxerre and Canton Vermenton. The population is 423 (1 January 2011).

Accolay is within the defined limits of the wine-growing Burgundy region. Defined areas are approved for the production of wines under the appellation Bourgogne.

Population

With 423 inhabitants Accolay one of the smaller communities of the department of Yonne. From the early 1960s to 1990, only relatively small fluctuations were recorded. Since then, the population is constantly increasing.
