Adrian Falub

Adrian Falub ( born July 8, 1971 in Dej, Cluj County ) is a former Romanian football player and current coach. He played a total of 433 games in the Romanian Liga 1, the Swiss National League A and the Cypriot First Division.

Playing career

Adrian Falub began his playing career at the age of 17 years at Unirea Dej in the fourth Romanian League. After a year he moved to first division club Universitatea Cluj, where he played until 1996. On March 19, 1989, he debuted in the first Romanian League in the Game against SC Bacau. In the 1996/1997 season he played in Switzerland with FC Basel, but returned after a year returned to Cluj. After another year Falub moved to league rivals Gloria Bistrita, but where he also played only one season. In 1999, the defender one of the most prestigious at that time Romanian clubs, FC Naţional Bucharest. With this club Falub acquired the Romanian runner-up in 2002. Coaching career

One reason for the end of his active career was the offer by his longtime club Universitatea Cluj to be hired there as a coach.
