A&E (TV channel)

A & E is a cable and satellite radiating American commercial station with headquarters in Manhattan. A & E stands for Arts and Entertainment ( Arts and Entertainment ), which stood for many years in the transmitter title. The transmitter emits its full program in the U.S., Canada and Latin America.

General Information

The channel AETV, who was initially specialized in biographies, documentaries and drama series and today reality television broadcasting, among others, can be received by more than 85 million homes in Canada and the United States. He is the figurehead of the A & E Television Networks group, which also owns the Biography Channel and the History Channel. The transmitter often showed foreign productions such as The visor of the MI5. Preferably productions were shown by the BBC. This disappeared with the onset of several reality shows.
