Aeroplan ( Groupe Aeroplan ) is a Canadian company based in Montreal.

The company operates a frequent flyer program as a service. The program was initially launched by Canadian company Air Canada in July 1984. The company is managed by Rupert Duchesne. Aeroplan distinguishes four stages in the frequent flyer program: Basic, elite, super elite and " Top Tier ".

  • Top Tier levels consist of three levels, allowing more free upgrades and other services including, inter alia, Lounge access at airports, priority treatment at check-in, baggage service. To be included in one of the three " Top Tier " levels, the frequent flyer must collect a certain number of Status Points in a calendar year.
  • Elite and Super Elite members have the same status as Star Alliance Gold passengers.

Status Points

For travel outside of Canada and the United States is 100% mile in Tango Plus fare class, 125 % in the Executive Class (Lowest ), and 150 % is obtained in the Executive Class Flexible booking class.
