African Rally Championship
The African Rally Championship will be held without interruption since 1981. In its second year, the series by the German Walter Röhrl was won with a Opel Ascona 400, who also wrote the World Rally Championship ( Drivers' Championship ) in his name in the same year. In the 2007 season, a total of seven races in different countries on the African continent on the calendar.
