Agnès Godard

Agnès Godard ( born May 28, 1951 in Dun -sur- Auron, France ) is a French cinematographer.

Life

Originally Agnès Godard studied journalism and, after a few years at the prestigious Institut des hautes études cinématographiques, where she graduated in 1980 her camera. Already her second film as a camera assistant was directed by Wim Wenders film drama The State of Things, which was released in 1982. In the same year she was hired by Wenders as main responsible camerawoman for its documentary Chambre 666.
