Agraciada is a village in Uruguay.

Geography

It is located in the area of ​​Colonia Department in its sector 8, where the site is adjacent to the north border extending to Nachbardepartamento Soriano, there is also a part of the place in its sector 4. West Agraciadas have the rivers Arroyo de la Agraciada, Arroyo Chico Agraciada, Arroyo del Sauce, Yerba Buena and del Sauce their source. The areas north and southeast of the city are called Cuchilla of San Salvador and Cuchilla del Sauce. A few kilometers to the southwest is the town of Nueva Palmira.

History

On June 28, 1939 Agraciada was recognized by Law No. 9839 as " Pueblo ".

Population

Agraciada inhabited at the time of the 2011 census total of 596 inhabitants, of whom 394 in Soriano (189 male and 205 female ) un 192 (99 /93) in Colonia. In the census of 2004 the town had 220 inhabitants in the department of Colonia and 389 inhabitants in the department of Soriano. The total population was thus at the time 609.
